If you would like to signup for a Liturgical Ministry, including Readers, Communion Ministers, Hospitality Ministers, Altar Servers, Sacristans, Music Ministry, Arts and Environment, please contact the Parish Center office at 288-7313. Altar Servers
Children in fourth grade and up are eligible to become Altar Servers. Altar Servers are scheduled according to their Mass preferences as much as possible. Schedules are mailed to each participant along with any additional instructions. Training takes place each October and a commitment of one year is appreciated. An adult coordinator is also needed each year.

Readers
Readers proclaim the Word of God and the petitions for the Sunday and Holy Day Masses. Speaking clearly and understandably is a requirement. Training is provided and required for new Readers and refresher sessions are available for current readers. Usually two Readers are scheduled for each Mass. Scheduling preferences are accommodated as much as possible. A commitment of one year is appreciated.

Choir/Musicians
The Ministry of Music provides music during weekend Masses, holy days, weddings, funerals, etc. Parishioners are invited to share their musical talents with the rest of the congregation through this ministry.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the bishop, priest or deacons in orderly and reverent distribution of Holy Communion. A brief training session is required. Must be a confirmed Catholic. A commitment of one year is appreciated. Another way to serve is by bringing communion to parishioners who reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or in their own homes and unable to get to church.

Ministers of Hospitality
Hospitality Ministers greet people as they enter our church. We take up the collections, and assist people who may have needs before or during Mass. We clean and straighten up the books and pews after Mass. Families or individuals may serve in this ministry. Ministers of Hospitality are usually scheduled about once per month.

Sacristans
Sacristans assist, facilitate, and provide support and coordination for other liturgical ministries. In addition, they make the necessary preparations for liturgical activities.

Arts & Environment
The Arts & Environment Team plans, obtains materials, and completes the decoration of the church for particular seasons and events throughout the year. Helpers are needed with a wide range of skills.
