Parish Events

Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is usually held the first Sunday of October. Chairs of the Fall Festival play an important role in the organization and oversight of this event. Subcommittees include Publicity, Country Store, Dinner, Children’s Games, Big Ticket Raffle, Silent Auction, and more. Volunteers of all ages are needed to make the Fall Festival a successful parish event.

Volunteers are needed before the festival and the day of the festival. Many hands make light work. All skills are needed. Time commitments vary.

Annual Rummage Sale

The annual St. Francis of Assisi Rummage Sale is held mid-summer. Parishioners are needed each summer to sort, repair, price, display items and help with the sale. Other volunteer opportunities include accepting donated goods, publicity, set-up, cashier, carry out help. All offers of assistance are appreciated. Some work is before the sale and some the day of the sale. Time commitments vary.

Annual Parish Picnic
Watch for announcements, it could be the end of June or a lovely day in August. It is free event and a great time to relax and enjoy a delicious meal under the oak trees on the parish grounds. Bring a chair and a story to share. No signups required.

Book Club

The Book Club was formed to foster community and fellowship for book lovers. Participants meet six times a year to discuss books chosen in advance by group members.

Women of St. Francis of Assisi Parish
We are looking for women who will help plan activities and events for this new ministry. We have a name and some ideas and have done a few things, but we want to be what you, as a woman of the parish need and want from a program(s) just for you. If you would like to help in the planning the new Women of St. Francis of Assisi please contact Karen Davis in the Parish Center Office.

Rosary Before Mass

Sundays at 7:30AM, 9:30AM and 11:30AM in the Church. Pray the Rosary with others before Mass.

Rosary/Novena

Thursdays at 1PM in the Church. A Rosary and Novena for peace and for servicemen and women in the Armed Forces is offered every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the church. Come join us.

Parish Center Library

Monday thru Friday 8AM to 4:30PM
Book are available for check out in the Parish Center Library or from the Library bookshelf in the Gathering Space. Build your spiritual life and read a good book. You may visit the Parish Center Library during office hours.
